Down Payment Assistance - New Homes Sacramento

This down payment assistance will come from a partial or full rebate of the local school facility fees paid by the builder when the new home building permit was obtained. Assistance may be used for down payment, closing costs, or any costs associated with buyer’s first mortgage loan, subject to acceptance by the mortgage lender and mortgage insurer. Eligible properties include new single family detached homes, townhomes and condominium units located anywhere in California. Buyers who qualify for this program will not have owned a primary residence in the last three years.  Additionally, buyers must agree to occupy their new home for a minimum of five years. The program funds are subject to availability and the California Housing Finance Agency eligibility requirements, program details and restrictions.
